Becoming a Friend of the World

Meditation Series on Developing a Kind Heart

When: Thursdays, 7-8:30 PM, October 12 – November 16; no class on 10/26 or 11/2.

Cost: $12/class or $40 for the series. Free for KMC Madison FP/GP Members

Someone who is kind-hearted and cherishes everyone they meet is an inspiring presence in an often negative world. A Bodhisattva is a friend of the world, who, motivated by compassion, spontaneously seeks to improve his or her good qualities for the benefit of each and every living being. In this series, we will learn that becoming such a person is not an unattainable goal, but the result of the practical steps to awaken and maintain our good heart. Classes taught by KMC Madison’s Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Gomlam. Everyone welcome!
